Dear Magical Girls is a story-driven tower defense game developed by GIGABlock Studio, released on Steam in 2026. I collaborated with the Korean developer on Simplified Chinese localization and QA.

What I did:

Translated and adapted Simplified Chinese localization,focused on rewriting dialogue to match Chinese internet culture rather than direct translation
Ran playtests, documented issues, and send feedback to the developer

What this demonstrates:

Localization as creative adaptation
Cross-cultural collaboration in a small indie team
QA communication and feedback documentation
